2019 - Chuckegg Creek Wildfire
Canada Task Force 2 was requested to assist multiple communities including the Town of High Level, Mackenzie County, the Dene Tha’ First Nation and the Paddle Prairie Metis Settlement with this wildfire impacting the community. CAN-TF2 supported by filling roles within the Incident Command Post and Emergency Operations Centres.
May 2018 - Saint John, New Brunswick Flooding
Canada Task Force 2 deployed four members at the request of the city of Saint John, New Brunswick to assist with a significant flood event affecting the community. Members assisted SJEMO in the Emergency Operations Centre as the community transitioned from response to recovery.
2016 - Fort McMurray Wildfire
In May of 2016, Can-TF2 was deployed by the Province of Alberta to assist the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo in their response to the unprecedented Wildfire of 2016. The team provided logistics support as well as EOC support for the event.

September 2014 - 'Snowtember'
Canada Task Force 2 responded within the City of Calgary for a 'freak' September snow storm that knocked out trees and power to many communicties within the city.
2013 - Calgary Flood
In June of 2013, CanTF2 was deployed by the Province of Alberta and provided 64 members over 14 days to provide evacuation, rescue, and recovery to 100,000 citizens affected by the flood. The team also provided Command and General Staff as well as support staff to the Calgary Emergency Operations Centre.
2013 - High River Flood
Deployed by the Province of Alberta, CanTF2 provided an Incident Management Team (IMT) to the Emergency Operations Centre for over three weeks to assist in supporting the local Command staff with Operations, Logistics, Planning, and Human Impact Services. CanTF2 also provided equipment and our 53" semi-trailer with awning as shelter and workable space for the Volunteer Coordination Centre.
2011 - Slave Lake Wildfire
CanTF2 was initially deployed by the Province of Alberta to provide an EMAT Medical Clinic at the Westlock Hospital. This quickly grew into providing Logistics, Planning, and Command Staff to the Slave Lake Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) for a total of 12 days.
The Logistics team provided a fully staff logistics centre 24/7 which obtained all the supplies needed to manage the entire incident. The Planning Team provided progress tracking, situational awareness, and written Incident Action Plans (IAP's) for the EOC. Command Staff filled the roles of EOC Management and Section Chief positions in the EOC.
